Galileo Poster | 2016

For this screenprint, I took an old watercolor portrait of mine into photoshop and cut and moved portions of the face around. I then transfered the image to the screen, printing in black first and then red over the eyes.

Using the same image from the Silk Screen print above, I decided to incoporate a relief print for a unique visual. I printed the silkscreen image first, and then my linoleum block image last.

Assignment was to take a Postmodern poster and transform it into the International Typographic Style. I revamped an old psychedelic Jimi Hendrix poster.

Hand painted this vintage looking film poster for an upcoming film written and directed by local Spokane filmmaker. The poster is featured in the film for a fake movie the character will be seeing.

For a class assignment, we worked with the Engineering Department's Senior Capstone students to create a poster for their projects (Silica Dust Pressure Sensing System). The capstone students were our client basically, and we met with them multiple times to discuss the poster throughout the process. There were three other groups in my class competing to make the best poster that would be displayed, and my group's poster was selected as the winner by those capstone students themselves.
